At East Lincoln, we offer a variety of instructional support for each and every student. All students who demonstrate a need for additional support are able to receive the support they need through specialized services tailored to their specific needs.
Hi, my name is Melissa Stout. I am a licensed teacher qualified to teach children with disabilities in grades k-12, and elementary education in grades 1-8.
I have always knew I wanted to be a teacher, and changed careers to pursue my dream. I taught four years for Anderson County Schools, and joined Tullahoma City Schools 22 years ago. I also enjoy teaching an after-school Reading is Fun and Beginning Sign Language class. When not at work, I love to watch mystery and forensic science based t.v., as well as, travel with my family to amusement parks, and read.
My goal is to enhance the lives of my students and their families' while educating and helping them to meet their greatest potential. All in all, I call it a good day when I have learned as much as my students.
I have been with the Tullahoma City Schools for the past twenty years serving as a fourth- grade teacher, technology specialist and currently at East Lincoln as a reading and math interventionist. My experience also includes teaching a variety of levels including Kindergarten, first, third and fourth grades in Iowa, Illinois and Murfreesboro City Schools.
I grew up in Nebraska, but now live on a small farm in Moore County whom I share with my husband, several dogs and a herd of cows. I enjoy traveling, hiking, gardening and sitting down with a great book.
My name is Lisa Mansfield. I have been married to my husband, James, for 23 years and we have three wonderful children. I have been teaching for 27 years, sixteen of which have been at East Lincoln.
My teaching philosophy centers around a belief that all students are capable of making good decisions about his or her behavior and they should be allowed to learn in a positive, nurturing classroom environment. Your child deserves the most positive educational climate possible for his or her growth, and together we can make a difference in this process.
