I am married to my husband, Denny, and we have two daughters, Madalyn and Jessica. Our family has grown to include my son-in-law, John, and my grandson, Boone. In my free time, I enjoy spending time on the lake and watching sports such as softball, football, baseball, and basketball. I grew up in Franklin County, specifically Estill Springs, and pursued my education at Motlow Community College, where I earned an associate's degree. I then continued my studies at Middle Tennessee State University, earning both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree. I have completed 28 years in education, with 27 of those years at East Lincoln and one year at Farrar Elementary. Throughout my career, I have taught HMI for four years and served as a Resource teacher for 24 years.

My name is Lisa Mansfield. I have been married to my husband, James, for 28 years and we have three wonderful children. I have been teaching for 31 years, twenty-one of which have been at East Lincoln.

My teaching philosophy centers around the belief that all students are capable of learning and making good decisions about his or her behavior and they should be allowed to learn in a positive, nurturing classroom environment.  Your child deserves the most positive educational climate possible for his or her growth, and together we can make a difference in this process.

I teach highly modified instruction for grade 3-5. I graduated from Tennessee Tech University in 2019 and I've been teaching since then. When I am not at school, I love to spend my time reading, crocheting, hiking, or hanging out with my family. I am proud to be an Eagle! 

My name is Brittney McCullough Sells, and I am proud to be an Eagle and to serve our school by teaching Highly Modified Instruction for Kindergarten through 2nd Grade. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that Maslow comes before Bloom—meaning that meeting students’ emotional and physical needs is essential before meaningful learning can take place. Building strong connections and reaching the whole child is at the heart of everything I do.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, along with certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Additionally, I hold a CDL license to drive a school bus.

Working with exceptional students and collaborating with their support teams is one of my greatest passions. Outside of the classroom, my greatest joy is my family—they are my most meaningful accomplishment and constant source of joy.

My name is Alesha Ashby. This is my third year in the RTI department at East Lincoln, but I have been an elementary school teacher for many years. My job is to help students improve in reading and math, and to work towards being successful with grade level skills.

I am starting my 14th year at East Lincoln and I love being at this school. I love our families, students and staff! It has been an awesome journey seeing where teaching has taken me these past 24yrs.  I have taught Kindergarten, 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, and now I'm in RTI.  I have taught in Alaska, Georgia, a brief time in Italy, and now in Tennessee where I plan to stay and finish out my career.  Teaching is what I am meant to do and it is truly a passion! I cannot imagine doing anything else. 

Hi! My name is Ashley Layne and I am the Speech-Language Pathologist at East Lincoln Elementary. I received my bachelors degree in Communication Disorders from The University of Tennessee and my masters in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Tennessee: Health Science Center. I have been practicing since 2017 and started working at East Lincoln in 2018. My husband Will and I have two children, Harper and Harrison. We enjoy spending time with our family and traveling. I love working at East Lincoln and helping each of my students reach their fullest potential by nurturing their communication skills, independence, and confidence.

I have been working with Tullahoma City School students for 18 years.  I have worked in all areas of Occupational Therapy.  My first job I worked in a  rehabilitation center in Austin Texas.  I was very involved with the spinal cord program and coached wheelchair basketball.  I have worked as a Hand Therapist and with infant and toddlers prior to working in the school setting. 

In the schools I work on :

• visual perceptual skills
• spatial skills
• organizational skills

I enjoy going into the classroom settings and collaborating with the teachers on handwriting and function in the classroom.
