My name is Misty Edde. I have been married to my husband, Denny, for 27 years. We have two daughters (Madalyn and Jessica) and one grandson (Boone). I have been teaching for 27 years, twenty-six of which have been at East Lincoln.
Teaching is my passion. My desire is to make a positive difference in children's lives. I also enjoy nurturing individuals to be the best versions of themselves.
My name is Lisa Mansfield. I have been married to my husband, James, for 26 years and we have three wonderful children. I have been teaching for 29 years, nineteen of which have been at East Lincoln.
My teaching philosophy centers around the belief that all students are capable of learning and making good decisions about his or her behavior and they should be allowed to learn in a positive, nurturing classroom environment. Your child deserves the most positive educational climate possible for his or her growth, and together we can make a difference in this process.
I teach highly modified instruction for grade 3-5. I graduated from Tennessee Tech University in 2019 and I've been teaching since then. When I am not at school, I love to spend my time reading, crocheting, hiking, or hanging out with my family. I am proud to be an Eagle!
My name is Alesha Ashby. This is my third year in the RTI department at East Lincoln, but I have been an elementary school teacher for many years. My job is to help students improve in reading and math, and to work towards being successful with grade level skills.
Hello, my name is Brooke TeVrucht. I am originally from Kingsport, Tennessee. I went to college at Middle Tennessee State University where I received my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education(K-8 grade). I taught grades ranging from 1st grade to 7th grade in Franklin County from 1993-2004. During this time, I attended night classes at Tennessee State University to complete my master’s degree in administration and supervision. Moving to East Lincoln and Tullahoma City Schools has been a wonderful decision for me. I feel privileged to work with a team of amazing and creative people.
My name is Chelsey Morris and I am the K-5 reading coach! I am a graduate of Franklin County High School and attended Bryan College on a Women's soccer scholarship. I have a Bachelor's degree in K-6 elementary education and a Master's degree in instruction and curriculum. I have been teaching for 9 years but this is my first year teaching in Tullahoma City Schools. I have three children, Colt, Lyncoln, and Duke. I have been married to my husband, Bryan, for 14 years. We love spending time together, playing sports, and traveling!
My name is Brett Petty. I have taught in Tullahoma for 22 years. I received my Elementary Education degree from MTSU and my Graduate Degrees from TN Tech. I taught 5th grade Math at Farrar Elementary from 2002-2021. From 2021-present, I have served as the Elementary Math coach in the district. My wife, Stephanie, teaches RTI Math at Bel-Aire Elementary. My daughter, Christina, and son, Andrew, attend Tullahoma Schools as well. I have two dogs and two cats. My hobbies include baseball, music, and camping.
Hi! My name is Ashley Layne and I am the Speech-Language Pathologist at East Lincoln Elementary. I received my bachelors degree in Communication Disorders from The University of Tennessee and my masters in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Tennessee: Health Science Center. I have been practicing since 2017 and started working at East Lincoln in 2018. My husband Will and I have two children, Harper and Harrison. We enjoy spending time with our family and traveling. I love working at East Lincoln and helping each of my students reach their fullest potential by nurturing their communication skills, independence, and confidence.
I have been working with Tullahoma City School students for 18 years. I have worked in all areas of Occupational Therapy. My first job I worked in a rehabilitation center in Austin Texas. I was very involved with the spinal cord program and coached wheelchair basketball. I have worked as a Hand Therapist and with infant and toddlers prior to working in the school setting.
