3rd Grade

In third grade, student use the foundations learned from previous years to begin reading to learn new information each day. Reading comprehension is practiced daily. There is a strong emphasis on multiplication and division fluency, as well as fractions.  Students are expected to be responsible for class materials as they transition to a block schedule and rotation between teachers. Third grade is also the year students begin taking state standardized testing.
