2nd Grade

My name is Emily Hill, and I’m thrilled to be joining the East Lincoln family this year! Though this is my first year at East Lincoln, it marks my eighth year in education. I’ve previously taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades and am excited to return to 2nd grade this year.

I’m originally from Lynchburg, but also have family here in Tullahoma. I graduated from Moore County High School in 2013, earned my Associate’s degree from Motlow State Community College in 2015, and completed my Bachelor’s degree at Tennessee Tech University in 2017.

My husband, Andrew, and I have two wonderful children, Tripp and Millie. As both a teacher and a parent, I understand the importance of creating a safe, encouraging, and engaging learning environment. I’m passionate about helping every student grow academically and personally, and I look forward to a year full of learning, laughter, and success in 2nd grade!

I have dedicated over 22 years to education, earning bachelor and Ed.S. degrees from Tennessee Technological University, an M.A. from Middle Tennessee State University, and a doctorate from University of the Cumberlands. I believe that every student can achieve success through engaging and tailored instruction.

When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my two daughters, both of whom are currently pursuing their college dreams, my husband, and our two playful cats. I look forward to another exciting year of collaboration and growth in our school community. 

Hello! I am Shayelynn McKill. This is my fifth year teaching, my fourth year at ELE, and it has been such a rewarding experience for me. I moved to Tennessee in 2016, when I graduated from high school in England! I grew up in a military family and I was able to travel the world as a child and teenager. I am married to my husband, Casey, with two amazing children, Micciah and Clara, and two dogs, Penny and Lizzie. In my spare time, I love traveling, coloring, reading, gardening, and spending time with my family.

I earned my Associates degree from Motlow, then went on to Tennessee Tech to receive my Bachelors degree. I have experience teaching 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade and 5th grade, as well as tutoring in K-5 while going through college."

My name is Rebecca Wrinn,  I was born and raised in Tullahoma.  I have two adult sons and 2 daughter-in-loves.  I am Gramma to 4 grandchildren (2 girls, 2 boys) ranging in age from 16 down to 4 years, with a 5th one (girl) due in Nov. 2025.   I share my home with two rescue dogs. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, music, working on my personal website, and collecting vintage items.

I earned my Associate's degree from Motlow State Community College,  a Bachelor's degree from MTSU, and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from MTSU, as well.  My teaching career started in the mid 80's at Highland Baptist Child Dev. Center, where I taught 4 year old preschool.  The 2025-26 school year is my 28th year at ELE.  I have taught grades 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.  I especially love teaching kids to read!  I am most proud to be an East Lincoln Eagle!
