2nd Grade

In 2nd grade, students become more experienced writers, readers, and mathematicians by practicing these skills in more complex and comprehensive ways.  Second graders are involved in research and critical thinking projects and activities, which include individual, and group work and sharing learned information through writing, speaking, and art.

Beanna Duncan

I graduated from MTSU in December 2012 with my Ed.S. in Administration and Leadership. I have taught for Tullahoma City Schools for 19 years, 17 years at Jack T. Farrar Elementary School in 2nd and 3rd grade and 2 years at East Lincoln in 2nd grade. I am married to Scott Duncan, and we have 3 daughters. In my free time, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.

Stephanie Duncan

I graduated from MTSU in 1996 with a BS in Early Childhood Education. I have taught at East Lincoln for 20 years. During my time at East Lincoln, I have taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and a Reading Interventionist.

Amber Heath

I received my undergrad degree in K-6 Multi-Disciplinary Studies in 2008 and my Masters of Library Science degree in 2010, both from Tennessee Technological University. I absolutely love teaching as working with kids has been a passion of mine my entire life. I live in Bevidere, TN with my husband - Max, our son-Maxwell, and dog - Emmy. I love being outside, going for jogs, drawing, listening to music, swimming, and spending time with my family and friends.

Ashley Todd

I graduated from Tennessee Technological University in 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I have been at East Lincoln for three years. I was an Educational Assistant with Intervention my first year at ELE and have been teaching 2nd grade for the last two years, focusing predominately on math. I am currently engaged and will become Mrs. Ashley Taylor in October 2019!
