1st Grade

Hi everyone! My name is Katie Heinrich, I was born and raised in Hillsboro, TN., and now reside in Tullahoma. I am married to my husband, Dave. I have three wonderful dogs, and two beautiful nieces. I have been in education since 2015. I have taught pre-school, 1st grade, and 3rd grade. I really love teaching first grade because that is where students show considerable growth. In my classroom, I strive to make it a safe, comfortable, and fun environment. I believe in loving your students first, teaching them, and having fun while we are together!  I am proud to be an East Lincoln Eagle! When I am not in my classroom, you will see me reading a good book, spending time with my nieces and dogs, and watching some great college football!

Hi!  I am Mrs. Kane.  I have had a love of education and teaching since I was little.  I have many relatives that have been teachers including my mother. I was a stay at home mother with three children for 15 years.  During that time, I completed my teaching certificate through Tennessee Tech University.  After I got my certification, I was blessed to find a home at East Lincoln Elementary.  This year makes my 14th year of teaching first grade at East Lincoln. It is my belief that all children need love, compassion, and security in the classroom before they can thrive.  I have and will continue to provide these through my years in the classroom.

Hello! My name is Sophie Shike. This is my first year living in Tullahoma and I’m so excited to be an East Lincoln Eagle. This is my third year teaching 1st grade. I received my bachelor’s degree from Lee University. Outside of school you might find me hiking, camping, or spending time with friends and family.
